Reaching out for support takes courage, and taking the first step toward therapy is something to be proud of. As an MFT Trainee, I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves. I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and move toward becoming the person they want to be.

My approach to therapy is grounded in humanistic principles. I believe that each person has within themselves the potential for growth and self-actualization, and I see therapy as a collaborative process. I meet clients where they are and seek to understand their experiences with empathy, curiosity, and genuine care. Through active listening, reflection, strengths-based exploration, and collaborative goal setting, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, exploring what matters most to them, and discovering their own strengths and resources.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, and children. As a children’s Sunday School teacher for over five years, I have a particular appreciation for working with children and helping them feel seen, heard, and understood. I firmly believe in the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment where they can grow and thrive.

I also have a background working in social services for almost 10 years; this experience has shaped the way I understand and connect with people from diverse backgrounds and circumstances. I have had the opportunity to support individuals and families as they navigate various life circumstances and connect with public assistance and community resources. This experience has deepened my understanding of the many challenges that can affect individuals and families and has reinforced my belief in approaching each person with compassion, dignity, and respect.

My hope on this journey is to build genuine connections with my clients and walk alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and work toward greater self-understanding and fulfillment. Taking the step to seek support is meaningful, and I would be honored to be part of that journey.
