My name is Tatyana (Tanya) Melnik. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working for Horizon Family Services. I have a BA degree in Psychology, MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from Brandman University. I use Humanistic theory and a non-judgmental approach in counseling.
I am trained in multiple therapeutic theories in Psychotherapy (including CBT, DBT, EMDR) but use individual approach for each client. I strongly believe in Holistic therapy, where mind and soul are taken into an account. My goal is to empower individuals and uncover their inner strengths during the time of crisis. I use my empathy and active listening skills to come with the most effective therapy method to fit each person individually according to their needs.
