Gabriella Grijalva, Trainee
Supervised by Ashley Barnes-Brown, LMFT #127661
Hi, my name is Gabriella, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at Horizon Family and Community Services. I’m passionate about helping people work through life’s challenges and move toward growth, healing, and resilience in a safe and welcoming space.
I practice from a client centered, empathetic, and culturally affirming perspective while also viewing people through a systemic lens. I like to understand my clients by looking at how your relationships, family dynamics, and life experiences shape you.
My approach is to work collaboratively with my clients and focus on your needs while pulling from different methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy.
I have a particular interest in working with children and families especially those who have experienced divorce/separation or are a blended family.
I’m currently completing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University and gaining supervised clinical experience. I receive weekly clinical supervision from Ashley Barnes-Browne LMFT #127661.
Thank you for considering working with me. I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
