Hello and welcome! I support you in taking your first step toward reaching out. I understand how difficult it can be and would like to share a little about myself. First, my name is Cyndra and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
In 2010, I had a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and my life took a dramatic unexpected turn. During my journey of healing, I came to understand how to cope with difficult transitions and how important it is to have support to overcome difficulties. During this time, I became fascinated with how the brain works or does not, and I shifted my focus toward mental health. My journey in mental health began in 2012, and I have been fortunate enough to have worked with clients giving support as individuals overcome their obstacles. I am passionate about helping individuals, children, adolescents, families, and relationships of any kind to help people connect with themselves and others. I work from a collaborative approach and together we can work on strategies that allow you to address the causes of your difficulties. Together we can identify and enlist your internal strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges. I focus on empowering individuals to overcome their problems by setting goals. I believe empathy and warmth help to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where people can process and heal.
I look forward to entering this journey of healing with you. Please feel free to reach out to me via email at [email protected]
