Life can be challenging. Being ourselves can be hard. Accepting others can be difficult. Whether it is change, loss, hardship, trauma, seemingly lifelong obstacles, or a combination of things, we are not built to go it alone.
As an Associate Marriage Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, under the supervision of a licensed clinician, my desire is to see you overcome! Therefore, I provide a safe, confidential, accepting, and affirming environment along with trauma-informed evidence-based practices to empower your healing and success.
With a Bachelor of Arts from UCSB in Biology, a Bachelor of Arts from NCBC in Biblical Studies, a Master’s of Arts in Counseling Psychology from William Jessup University, and over 25 years of experience in social services working with individuals, couples, and families, I offer a balanced approach of science and spirituality.
I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, Brainspotting, Gottman Method, Positive Psychology Therapy, Christian Biblical Counseling, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Play Therapy.
In recognizing that each of us is on our own journey, I strive to provide a holistic and tailored approach that works for you. Together we can explore what impacts and motivates you ethnically, socially, relationally, spiritually, financially, and/or suchlike. You may want to consider restoring your mind, body, and soul; pursuing a life with meaning and purpose; and doing life in loving relationships.
I would be honored to join you in your life pursuits.
