I have a very simple saying I live by: “You need to always remember to never forget…. you are a very important person”. I have a double master’s degree, one in Marriage and Family Therapy, my other master’s degree is in Psychology. I am a person-centered Therapist and I do not believe in “disposable people”. Every person has value.
My specialization is in African American Families, through family sessions; individual sessions; and/or parent and child sessions. please note, my specialization does not preclude me from working with others, if you need help, and are willing to put in the work, then so am I.
I'd also like to point out I have 24 years clean in recovery, one day at a time; I've previously worked in treatment facilities for over 15+ years.
Building relationships is such a critical component of humanity; simply put we all need each other and through my purpose driven life I am thrilled to give the valiant effort to help another human being through relationship building. Trust and privacy are cornerstone to building healthy relationships and this is very important when it comes to therapeutic relationships. Whether working with families, individuals, children or couples, I am available to assist you in addressing your needs.
